@Nebsandhills “Cake” was originally reserved for use when referring to pressed cottonseed meal products. The original products looked more like a cake. Pellet/cube presses began to make cottonseed meal 3/4” pellets that were still called cake. These were 41 to 38% CP.

@FDGenetics I have done some work in the Caribbean and you are correct on all points. They face an uphill battle. We did get BQA in Puerto Rico or at least we helped them start the effort. PR is way ahead of other islands

@robbie71w That could very well be a sirloin steak out of a Prime grading carcass. Carcass grade for the entire carcass is determined by marbling between the 12th and 13th rib. Doesn’t matter what marbling is any when else in the carcass. I’ve never seen sirloin called prime but..it’s legal
