@TheSRCPodcast@Rreesrugby Il see what i can find, Jack was pulled into 18s at 15, so may have been 2-3 games at u16 together, also the schoolboys age they were together. Im sure Lewis was pulled into the senior academy in second u18s year… Jack had 3 years in 18s before being brought in.
@dstephenh99 @LeeJarvis10 Development contracts and college scholarships here.. will be only thing keeping boys here.. along with the cost of going to Hartpury as they dont offer full scholarships to cover accomodation
@dstephenh99 @LeeJarvis10 Same happens every year… when they are college age and are decent at rugby they all go for the trials at hartpury, couple of years ago there were about 10 ospreys youngsters trialling there, no doubt its been the same again…
The threat to the #Ospreys’ future could have widespread economic and social impacts on the region I represent.
I raised these deep concerns with the Welsh Government today.
@OspreysSC
Longyfarchiadau to Jack Hoskins and Dylan James who have been named in the @WelshRugbyUnion squad for the U20s Six Nations.
Go well, boys 🖤

We are very disappointed with the decisions taken by the WRU on the future of professional rugby in our city.
As sports fans in Swansea, it is for the benefit of us all to see all our teams succeed, and this decision does not further this goal.
The city needs as many people as possible to call out the WRU and Y11 Sport and Media, and save professional rugby in Wales’ 2nd biggest city.
There has long been discussion about the number of regions in Wales, but the WRU has chosen to go about this in the most cowardly way possible.
The Ospreys are Wales’ most successful region and should not be culled by those adamant in rewarding failure. Swansea is the capital of Welsh sport, and has provided many of the stars of the Welsh rugby team, including our current captain. The decisions of the WRU should reflect that.
@WelshRugbyUnion’s Mr Collier Keywood believes he has sufficient support from Welsh rugby fans to move forward with his plans. So let’s test that shall we?
A simple question: Do you support the WRU’s plans for Welsh Rugby? Please share to reach the widest possible audience
This video has been a work in progress for a few weeks, but with the precarious situation we find ourselves in, we feel that now is the time to show the strength of @ospreys support. Here’s how far and wide we reach outside of Ospreylia with more to follow!
