Chong's words struck a chord with Canadians who have long grown weary of Trudeau's empty promises and deceptive tactics. He made it clear that when the government fails to take decisive action against foreign interference, it sends a dangerous message to authoritarian states that Canada is open for manipulation and exploitation. This revelation sheds light on the disturbing pattern of appeasement and weakness that has characterized the Trudeau administration.

The National Security Advisor, Jody Thomas, confirmed that the July 2021 CSIS intelligence report, which highlighted the threat to MPs and their families, was indeed circulated to the government. Justin Trudeau and his Liberal government have shown their true colors, and it is a disappointing shade of cowardice. As we approach the next election, let us remember the courage and conviction of MPs like Michael Chong, who are unafraid to speak truth to power. It is through their voices that we can hope for a brighter future and a government that truly represents the values and aspirations of the Canadian people.
