@SickoMo64787045@ben_the_grimm@Variety Because that’s stupid if there’s a more advanced and easy way now. AI gen use does not take away from craft and creativity.
@jforjacob@adarshattri@gioblaze0069 The hooks and celeb use are fine but should have focused on one celeb’s story at a time, each could be a separate ad, they just stacked hooks with no payoff or clear relevance to their avatar
1/New York just became the first US state to require advertisers to disclose AI-generated people in ads.
It takes effect June 9, 2026. If you run paid media, you have days, not months.
Here's what it actually means for your brand or agency. 🧵
@mvanhorn For the mic thing in open office, I bought a rode xcm 50. I mumble or talk close to it. Or just hold on to your nuts and not care what people think. They might even get interested and make a connection.
@Schmale1@Bowtiedplayer@MattWalshBlog And about “most will not be good”…that’s normal with anything, especially filmmaking or the entertainment biz. The best are recognized.
@Schmale1@Bowtiedplayer@MattWalshBlog Movies are all about getting you invested in a story or world. AI is just an evolution of tools. In the hands of a good director, people wont mind watching.
@Schmale1@Bowtiedplayer@MattWalshBlog Not a bad thing. They will learn along the way and the tech improves. If you didn’t know, the biggest movie right now is conceived and directed by a 19 year old (at the time), conceived probably from his bedroom
@karavaev_an@BowTiedBull It’s not feel good. It’s a real thing that tons of people have done. We worship young success, not a bad thing just the exception.
@BowTiedBull I’m gonna disagree a bit. Yes having young man energy’s good. And perception can be harsh. But there’s ton of stories of people 40+ turning things around at a later age. See the book “Late Bloomers”
@ATFignorer@spudfunkel@WurzelRoot Not interesting. Him getting beat up physically and shooting them back is more felt by the viewer than simply getting kicked out. He’s already fired by this point too, that’s the build up to the subway scene.
Animation is the clearest use case for AI in art.
Most television animation is shipped overseas to outsourced studios. The original creators design the characters, create turnaround sheets showing what the characters should look like from different angles, and do storyboards and sometimes rough animatics, and then they ship that overseas.
Even when animation is produced domestically, it is often done by a staff of junior animators who have little contact with principal creatives.
AI replaces the outsourced workers. It can produce a complete animation based on the same materials, of a similar quality and for a much lower budget.
This will empower a lot of lead creatives to create animation for a much lower budget. Independent creators will be able to make studio quality animation to post on YouTube. This will also eliminate a lot of jobs down the line.
@cfryant Exactly. Reading many comments that his apology’s not accepted. They just want to punish someone for using AI. Bad move on his part giving in.
