Paul Skenes was driving down Perry Highway in Wexford just past seven o’clock Monday night when the Pirates superstar pitcher made a pit stop. It was a Little League field.
Skenes signed autographs for over two hours, connecting with Pittsburgh's next generation.

Being a @cavs ex player it’s disappointing seeing them lay down and the coach being unaccountable in the series. It’s the eastern conference finals and you lay down don’t just blame James harden look at it all!!!!!
Back in January, I spent time with Jesse Marsch at his home in Italy. He said then that he wanted to extend his contract with Canada Soccer. Tonight, he has, through 2030. https://t.co/eTMVBhSS0A

One note on @PabloTorre and his team winning a Pulitzer for the Clippers story — the NBA still hasn’t done anything about this. An investigation is still pending. Obviously the Pulitzer committee was convinced by the reporting — and no logical alternative defense has surfaced
The staff of “Pablo Torre Finds Out” won the Pulitzer Prize for Audio Reporting on Monday for its deeply reported investigation into how the Los Angeles Clippers seemingly circumvented the NBA’s salary cap, with the Pulitzer board calling the podcast “pioneering and entertaining."
“Anyone who wins a Pulitzer should be proud, but it’s especially nice to see someone leave a reliable, well-paying job at ESPN, take a risk on something new, and have it pay off like this,” writes senior media writer Tom Jones.

Seeing the Anaheim game last night and a million other bad calls in NHL games, it is ridiculous that referees are not accountable after games. Five minutes of questions from the media and move on. Instead they hide. With gambling a bigger part of sports, it should be a must.
Obviously a DIEHARD Cincinnati RedLegs fan but the Pirates were kind of enough to invite Peter (and therefore me haha) over to see PNC Park (my favorite MLB ballpark in MLB) while we’re here for the NFL Draft. Such a great group of people-Peter and I really appreciated our visit and hope to be back for a Reds/Pirates series later this summer!
Thanks a lot! @Pirates
The Penguins have not solved the 1-1-3. They don’t seem particularly interested in engaging in the requesite behaviors to beat the 1-1-3. And their second pairing is a nuclear bomb they are dropping on their own heads. More problems than I have space to type.
I know I've said it before, but I'll say it again.
Very few people appreciate what America lost when we lost newspapers.
Just being able to sit down every morning in silence and peruse news, opinion, sports, advice, recipes, interesting human interest stories all in one place was such a pleasure.
The Internet has never produced anything that comes close.
