Dear Americans,
I am a soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and I want to tell you something.
Freedom is not measured in dollars. Freedom is not measured by the price of diesel in your car’s tank.
Freedom is measured by a nation’s willingness to fight for its country, its people, and its right to exist.
We Ukrainians know the price of freedom. We pay it in blood. Every single day.
We will continue striking Russian military targets. We will continue fighting Russian invaders on land, at sea, and in the sky. In Ukraine and wherever Russia wages its war against us.
Because we are not fighting for money, oil, or comfort.
We are fighting for our homeland. For our future. For our FREEDOM.
And we will never surrender it.
Mayor of Calgary: "It's really rich to see from some of these leaders in the separatist movement, they talk a lot about freedom, they talk a lot about sovereignty. And when they go down south of the border, offering our water, our land, our oil, this is not about taking back Alberta, this is about selling out Alberta."
We’ve always known, but now it’s confirmed, that Danielle Smith’s separatist friends, including a sitting UCP president, have been conspiring to hand over Alberta’s land, oil and water to Donald Trump.
Yet she refuses to kick them out of her party and instead changes the laws to give them everything they want.
Albertans deserve so much better than this weak leadership that hurts us all.

Oh.
"A Globe and Mail investigation has found that Republican political operatives were on the ground in Alberta this year to assist the separatist campaign in its bid to leave Canada, while harbouring their own aspirations for the province to secede.
The Globe also found that when Alberta separatist leaders went to Washington to meet with the U.S. State Department, they offered up key assets from the province’s resource portfolio, including access to fresh water and royalties on crude oil, in exchange for help transitioning to independence."

🇨🇦Canada is building a way around 🇺🇸America for its oil.
Prime Minister Carney today named Pacific Link a project of national interest.
It's a 1M b/d pipeline from Alberta to a terminal near Vancouver, built to ship crude to Asia.
The route follows the existing Trans Mountain corridor and stays clear of B.C.'s North Coast.
Ottawa and Alberta would own it equally, Indigenous communities get at least 10%, Pembina is the private partner, and Trans Mountain leads development.
Federal conditions are due by 1 Sep 2027 and construction starts after that.
Realistically, oil flows in the early to mid 2030s.
Ottawa projects 140,000 jobs and $ 20bn a year of GDP.
Today about 90% of Alberta's oil goes south.
But the number that matters most is missing from the press release and it's the WCS discount. Heavy Canadian crude sells below WTI because 🛢️US refiners in the Midwest and on the Gulf Coast are almost its only buyers.
Trans Mountain's expansion already narrowed that gap when it opened in 2024.
Another 1M b/d to the coast would weaken that captive market further.
It's the same story as LNG.
🇨🇦Canada sanctioned LNG Canada Phase 2 for Asian buyers, while Washington's Alaska LNG pitch is still waiting on Seoul.
If 🇨🇦Canada sends another 1M b/d to Asia, who replaces those heavy barrels for 🇺🇸US refiners?
It’s still AI.
It’s still Twitter.
It’s still Lake Ontario.
It’s still the Kennedy Center.
It’s still the Gulf of Mexico.
It’s still the Department of Defense.
And Donald Trump is still a rapist and a pedophile.
