@Trumperizar Oh please, the soccer Gods got ir right. Based on who showed up to win and who played not to lose, the rightful team (spain) was victorious. Had Argentina won with PKs, it would have been a travesty. Any neutral observer could easily see who the better team was.

@arielipillo Are u blind? I like Embolo, but he obviously took a dive. The only contact was Embolo throwing his leg at defender right while starting his dive. That is obvious simulation. Embolo deserved the yellow card.

This is what I hate about soccer today vs 40 years ago. All this rolling around got him nothing and penalized his team.

@ESPNFC Actually, it being ruined by having too many mediocre teams. The WC should be reserved for the best teams. Im guessing at least 12 teams gonna play not to lose, and play defense from their 18...and try to counter 2-3 times per half. BORING!!!

@FabrizioRomano I hate how money has ruined "champions league". First, there shouldn't be an AFC champions league 2--they werent champions in the linked season. And in general, if u gonna allow 2nd, 3rd, 4th place teams, then call it something else, but not champions league.
