@itrymybestinnit I think no matter where you work in the NHS, you feel you are being put upon doing other people's work. When in reality it's systemic failure and patients get stuck in the middle. Do the best you can and feel comfortable saying no.

@ZoeJardiniere Ask to be referred again. Complain to the hospital PALs if you think it has been unjustly refused. A lot of the time there is very specific criteria a patient needs to meet before a referral gets accepted. Sometimes that information has been missed in the letter.
