UPDATE
Unsurprisingly Currys are still claiming that it was delivered despite providing proof that it was not my address nor my safe space. Sadly I didn’t purchase on my credit card so instead I have raised the incident with Consumer Arbitration.
It took @currys a 2 month investigation with a DPD to send me a blank response on why they closed my missing parcel. The photo of the item is what DPD have on their delivery proof. That is not my bin and definitely not signed for.
@currys It’s great that this link simply starts up a chat bot conversation. Which stupidly I decided to entertain and ended with “check your delivery on DPD”. Yeah thanks that’s a lot of help
@YesWeCrann Can we have a section like player ratings but beer ratings instead. Something like
Strong start by the IPA, however it dipped off a bit as we approached midway, by the end left a bitter after taste. 5/10
🚨🦉 Important Announcement🦉🚨
A new friend of Sheffield Wednesday and the Supporters Trust, who prefers to remain anonymous, has been incredibly impressed by the outpouring of support for the effort to raise money for this important cause and has made an incredibly generous pledge to match every gift, up to £35,000 raised by supporters towards this effort.
We’re currently on £27,910, meaning we need to raise the final £7,090 to unlock the full £35,000 contribution.
If we do, a £35,000 supporter-led campaign becomes a £70,000 investment in Sheffield Wednesday supporters and young people across our community.
That means more season tickets, more match tickets, more mascot experiences, more shirts, and the chance to reach even more children who dream of being part of Sheffield Wednesday but may never otherwise get the opportunity. It means creating memories with parents, grandparents and friends that will last a lifetime, helping young people feel connected to their club, their city and their community. The donor has recognised just how important family and community are in Sheffield, and wants to help open the door for the next generation of Wednesdayites.
The donor recognised something we’ve all seen: when Wednesdayites are given the chance to help one another, they step forward. In discussing the donation, they impressed upon us a simple message:
“We’re All Wednesday Aren’t We?”
That spirit is exactly what Sheffield Wednesday is about.
This fanbase has already achieved something remarkable.
Now we have the opportunity to turn £35,000 into £70,000.

@jakerowl1 Sometimes the smallest changes can make the biggest impact. The introduction of 0% finance with no credit check was a master stroke. It made those who saw it borderline affordable actually affordable
@swfc With payday only around the corner for many ( those who don’t like buying on any form of credit ) I can see this jumping up more in a week or so!
@IamBalhamMatt To be clear if this was Wednesday I’d be just as frustrated as you are. It’s so harsh on the fans because the club did something sneaky and wrong which you as fans can’t impact. All your anger should be directed at your club
@IamBalhamMatt You’re looking at this based on the comp and end value rather than a knockout comp situation, if this had been round 2 of the league cup you’d have accepted proportional outcome. If Swindon were kicked out for cheating fielding illegible player why should your punishment be less?
Would everyone have been happier if the wording of the outcome was different. Rather than expelled Southampton, the first game was forfeited by Southampton and Boro given a 3-0 win. That way a punishment of cheating against Boro is applied to that game? #spygate
