A big thank you to official Sheffield Wednesday club sponsor @FibrelyUK, who have purchased 10 tickets for our Christmas at Hirsty’s event on 3 December!
It’s fantastic to see businesses associated with the club getting behind a supporter-led event, and we’d love to see more local businesses doing the same.

How many more times must we find ourselves condemning this vile behaviour?
Nobody should have to endure racist abuse.
The Sheffield Wednesday Supporters’ Trust stands firmly alongside our player, his family and the Club.
If you witness racism or discrimination, report it. Don’t ignore it, don’t scroll past it. Save the evidence and report it through the appropriate channels.
We all have a responsibility to challenge this behaviour and ensure those responsible are held accountable.
This must stop.
#SWFC
Club statement: 21 October, 2026
Sheffield Wednesday is aware of racist abuse directed towards the family of one of our players on social media following last night’s fixture.
We stand unequivocally with our player and his family, who have the club’s complete support.
Racism is abhorrent. It has no place in football or in society, and we condemn this abuse in the strongest possible terms.
The comments have been reported to the relevant authorities, with whom we will work to ensure those responsible are identified and held accountable.
This is not the first incident of its kind involving our players, staff and their families this season. The continued targeting of individuals and their loved ones is utterly unacceptable.
Only last weekend, we stood alongside the EFL in supporting its Together Against Racism campaign. Incidents such as this reinforce why collective action and meaningful consequences remain so important.
There can be no tolerance, no excuses and no ambiguity when it comes to racism or discrimination of any kind.
Sheffield Wednesday will continue to stand with those affected and take the strongest possible action against anyone responsible for such abuse.

Luke stood alongside us during the protest movement, helping distribute protest scarves through the Warehouse when things were desperate. That’s something we’ll never forget, and we’ll always be grateful for his support.
To now see him working alongside the club he loves, with his incredible collection proudly on display at Hillsborough, is a wonderful full-circle moment.
We’re absolutely made up for you. Nobody deserves it more. 💙🦉

All packed and ready to go. 💙🤍💙💙
Thankyou to everyone that has got in touch regarding our sensory packs. We have another 30 bags that have been allocated for today’s game.
With over 100 requests for the packs it just shows there’s a need for these for our neurodiverse fans.
For anyone that has not yet received one yet, hold on we will get them to you.

There are genuine people behind all of this. Ordinary supporters, volunteers, mums and dads who take their kids to games, giving up their own time because they want to make a difference.
Behind every nasty rumour or personal attack is someone simply trying to make our football club a better place.
Worth remembering that sometimes.
Thanks, Ian.

Please raise your glasses to our team,
Sheffield Wednesday rule supreme.
And that is why we are so proud,
To sing this song out loud…
Back at home, 3 points required. Bring the noise.

More Than Football. 🦉
We’ll be out filming around the ground tomorrow, showcasing some of the amazing things Wednesday fans have made possible through their generosity over the summer.
From match tickets to mascot experiences and junior shirts, your donations have helped create opportunities for fellow Wednesdayites who might otherwise have missed out.
If you see us tomorrow, come over, say hello and have a chat. We’d love to hear from you!
None of this would have happened without you.
Wednesday is more than football. It’s about looking after our own.

@Leekie1867 Hi Chris, no, that’s not the case. Associate membership requires you to actively sign up for it. Once your paid membership lapses, you are removed from our membership figures and are not automatically counted as an associate member.
🎟️ 3 TICKETS AVAILABLE FOR SATURDAY!
As part of our ongoing community ticketing initiative, we’ve had a cancellation and now have 3 tickets available for Saturday’s game.
We’d love to see these tickets go to Wednesdayites who wouldn’t ordinarily be able to attend a game.
If you or someone you know would benefit from this opportunity, please email [email protected].

Sheffield Wednesday Supporters’ Trust Statement
The Sheffield Wednesday Supporters’ Trust welcomes today’s announcement that our Chair, James Silverwood, has been invited to join the Sheffield Wednesday Board of Directors in an unpaid, Non-Executive capacity.
The Trust Board is fully supportive of James, who has worked tirelessly on behalf of Wednesday supporters throughout one of the most challenging periods in the Club’s history.
Whilst the invitation has been extended to James in an individual capacity, the Trust Board has already unanimously identified James as the person we would wish to see take up such an opportunity.
Despite the invitation being personal to him, James has been clear from the outset that he would not wish to proceed without first consulting the Trust’s membership.
We believe this demonstrates his commitment to the democratic principles upon which the Trust is built and his determination to ensure supporters remain at the heart of everything we do.
The Trust will therefore put the proposal to its members for a formal vote, allowing them to determine whether they support James accepting the invitation.
Alongside this development, the Trust will also have representation on the Club’s Fan Advisory Board (FAB), providing a formal platform through which we can raise issues, contribute to discussions and represent the views and interests of our membership directly with the Club.
Together, these developments represent a significant opportunity to strengthen communication, improve transparency and build a closer working relationship between the Club and its supporters.
We welcome the Club’s commitment to meaningful supporter engagement and thank the ownership for recognising the importance of involving supporters in the future of Sheffield Wednesday.
We look forward to building on this positive relationship and playing our part in moving the Club forward.

Sometimes, football means so much more than 90 minutes.
Today, we received a lovely letter from Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity @SheffChildrens, thanking the Sheffield Wednesday Supporters’ Trust for our recent donation of junior Wednesday shirts.
“Thank you for doing something amazing. Together we make the difference.”
Following one of the most difficult periods in our club’s history, Wednesday supporters came together and raised over £83,000 through our pre-season fundraising campaign.
That generosity has already provided hundreds of matchday ticket opportunities, mascot packages and junior Wednesday shirts.
For some of our youngest Wednesdayites, a trip to Hillsborough or the club shop simply isn’t possible right now. We wanted to bring a little of that excitement to them instead.
And there’s plenty more to come.
Throughout the season, we’ll continue supporting Sheffield Children’s Hospital, with further shirt donations planned for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice and schools across our community, alongside more initiatives working closely with @swfc.
To everyone who supported our fundraiser, this is what your generosity makes possible.
We’re incredibly proud of what Wednesday supporters have achieved together.

🎟️ OCTOBER & NOVEMBER TICKET APPLICATIONS
Successful applicants for our AFC Wimbledon fixture will be contacted in the coming days.
Applications remain open for all upcoming fixtures, including Wimbledon.
Our ticketing initiative continues to help fellow Wednesdayites who might otherwise miss out on watching their team.
Please share and help us reach those who could benefit. 💙

🎟️ OCTOBER & NOVEMBER TICKET APPLICATIONS
We’re pleased to open applications for our ticket scheme for matches across October and November.
So far this season, through this part of the scheme alone, we’ve provided 120 match tickets to 113 different people who otherwise may not have had the opportunity to attend a game, through direct applications and our work with various supporter groups.
Alongside this, hundreds more tickets have been distributed through local schools and the Sheffield Wednesday Community Programme.
We’re delighted to continue helping more Wednesdayites from across our community experience a matchday at Hillsborough. This is all down to Wednesdayites digging deep in the summer. Without supporter donations, none of this is possible. Thank you.
If you’d like to apply for tickets from the Trust, either for yourself or on behalf of someone else, please complete the form below.
Successful applicants will be contacted during the week of the relevant fixture. We’ll always aim to give as much notice as possible.
🎟️ Tickets will need to be collected from the Ticket Office, ideally before matchday wherever possible.
