Exposing Lyft and Uber as criminal enterprises for paying drivers about half the fare and misclassifying drivers as independent contractors

[Ron Parlay The Lyft Critic @ronparlay]

This is a great fare if it was 1972. Fuck #Lyft fuck #Uber #captheircut what do you think the passenger was charged?

[Ron Parlay The Lyft Critic @ronparlay]

$71 from Philly to North Jersey. What a disgrace! #shameonlyft #captheircut #rideshare #shameonuber

Ward with a full count delivers with an RBI double down the line. Really nice job of meeting the pitch and keeping the hands in. Came around to score the tying run.

50 miles out of town for $38🤮 #Lyft and #Uber are a disgrace to humanity. I recommend drivers #boycott the platforms until driver payments are renegotiated as a % of the total fare. If #Uber can’t make a profit skimming 25% of a million rides a day then they are worthless.

[Ron Parlay The Lyft Critic @ronparlay]

#Uber and #Lyft have the gall to describe the drivers as “customers.” States should hold the companies to their own words; that they are simply middlemen connecting drivers and riders through an app. So we should #captheircut to a fair %, approx 25%. https://t.co/iuJWPa2DYX

[Ron Parlay The Lyft Critic @ronparlay]

#Uber and #Lyft drivers unite! They have ZERO revenue without us! WE have the power! The best solution to the #technofeudalism low pay is to #captheircut , I think 25% off the fare is fair

[Ron Parlay The Lyft Critic @ronparlay]

$8 from center city to NJ is a disgrace!! Fuck #Lyft and #Uber

[Ron Parlay The Lyft Critic @ronparlay]

Center city Philly to New Jersey for $12, AFTER 10% “bonus”!! This is pathetic! They probably charged the rider $35. #captheircut. #Lyft and #Uber are crooks!

[Ron Parlay The Lyft Critic @ronparlay]

#Uber only has free cash flow because they take about 1/2 of the fare off the driver’s backs. Their total cumulative losses are > $30 bn. They’ve always taken an egregious cut, it’s just worse now. Monopoly playbook. #captheircut. #Lyft #racketeering https://t.co/HggA4hcOzE

[Ron Parlay The Lyft Critic @ronparlay]

If enriching #siliconvalley is your thing and you are cool with approx #minimumwage pay, come drive for #lyft. #captheircut #racketeering #technofeudalism

[Ron Parlay The Lyft Critic @ronparlay]

Drive 10 miles TO the airport then out of state to NJ for $25??!! #Lyft and #Uber are crooks! #captheircut

[Ron Parlay The Lyft Critic @ronparlay]

North Philly to Jersey for $16!! 🤮 #CapTheirCut . #Uber + #Lyft should be first of all ashamed for disrespecting the drivers that generate 100% OF THEIR REVENUE. 2ndly they should be limited by law to a certain % of the fare since they are “just a platform” (not a taxi service).

[Ron Parlay The Lyft Critic @ronparlay]

#Lyft didn’t increase my payout despite the ride taking twice as long as expected (I had to help passenger up the stairs and carry her bags). She was so grateful she tipped me $12 however if she hadn’t I would be on pace for #minimumwage #captheircut #Uber and #Lyft are #crooks

[Ron Parlay The Lyft Critic @ronparlay]

#Lyft minimum fare in Philly is (or used to be) $3.37, which is already tragic. Notice how this fare that included a “Bonus” had a 21 cent haircut that you might not detect in 15 seconds while driving in the rain at night. #racketeering #uber #rideshare #captheircut

[Ron Parlay The Lyft Critic @ronparlay]

Shocking. #uber #lyft #racketerring https://t.co/5zmeAtvfeH

[Ron Parlay The Lyft Critic @ronparlay]

If you’re desperate or uninformed, you’ll let #Lyft take half (or more) of the fare. I wonder how much they charged the passenger? #FuckLyft

[Ron Parlay The Lyft Critic @ronparlay]

If you can’t do math and are ok with making approximately minimum wage trafficking strangers through potholes, come drive for #Lyft ! #racketeering #employeemisclassification #fuckuber #captheircut

[Ron Parlay The Lyft Critic @ronparlay]

$15 for 9 miles of city driving on Thanksgiving weekend. The $4.50 “bonus” indicates high demand. This would’ve been a perfectly fair cut for a cab driver in 1993 smh. Shame on #Lyft and #Uber for paying drivers peanuts while they gobble up 50% or more of the fare. #racketeering

[Ron Parlay The Lyft Critic @ronparlay]

Another example of insulting driver pay from Philly to AC. #lyft #fucklyft

[Ron Parlay The Lyft Critic @ronparlay]

If you like working for free while enriching Silicon Valley sociopathy, accept a fare to NJ on #Lyft
