@CHHoodlum I was in Sioux Falls and watched a 2nd time On Demand. Friars never got to their game. Never started with possession losing face offs and immediately had to defend. Chased the game against a fast pace possession team like Quinnipiac. You need the puck to dump, and be physical.
@CHHoodlum@FriarsHockey Hope so but I’ll be in South Dakota so beating ND with their fan base would be sweet. Likely one of the few Friars fans in the arena so I’ll be on my best behaviour. But if watching on TV you’ll hear me!
@CHN_AdamWodon It’s tough when Hrabal steals games, and tonight the tables were turned. Congrats to the grittiness of Merrimack, and they certainly deserve to play for Hockey East championship…..but UMASS got beat by a goalie tonight!
@CHHoodlum@ihateedcooley@FriarsHockey Stay positive! This team is built for a run. Thought we played a decent third period when our backs were against the wall, so lesson learned it takes a 60 minute, disciplined, four line effort. With Sawyer back we are a four line team. Fingers crossed for Albany or Worcester.
@ohara_cait13546 Providence has a total of 20 freshman and sophomores, and only 5 juniors and 1 senior. They are the 8th youngest team in NCAA this season. May I respectfully request you research facts before posting. Facts matter!
@MikeMcMahonCHN How about a discussion on the impact of CHL players across NCAA. Individual performances are easy to interpret statistically, but individual teams like Providence has four line depth, in part due to CHL players. Discuss, not only teams, but league wide impacts.
@CHHoodlum@Ed_Paluch@FriarsHockey@NHL Jack was the difference in second period Saturday against UCONN. 21 saves in that period, and 10 shots were inside the house. Giving the team a chance to win in the third which is our best period statistically.
