We, as a nation, aren't who/what we thought we were. American exceptionalism has died.
If you're a Xtian and a Maga, your moral compass is screwed up. Fix it!
@bruce_steiner He damaged our country in more ways than we realize today. Even if he is no longer with us tomorrow, we will struggle with his actions for years to come. We're going back to 1955 unless he's stopped. If he is stopped in November, we need to fight in the states. Another 50 years.
🚨 Jan. 6 rioter Daniel Ball was rearrested for illegal gun possession.
Trump gave him a full pardon despite previous felony convictions for domestic violence.
The Trump administration wants you to believe Trump’s $1.8 billion slush fund is dead. It’s not. The Acting AG didn’t kill it. A judge didn’t kill it. The plan to use your taxpayer money to pay Capitol rioters is still very much alive.
This is an image from @I_W_M of British Commandos on a landing craft approaching Sword Beach on D-Day, 6th June 1944. 82 years ago today.
War is a horrific thing; these men left their loved ones to enter its hellish cauldron. Some never returned. We remember their immense bravery and sacrifices to defeat fascism so that they should never be necessary again.
🚨33-year-old Kenneth Wayne Cassels Jr., a Texas MAGA man who spent his time on Facebook sharing Jordan Peterson “wisdom,” laughing at trans people, and posting right-wing memes, has gotten himself arrested for something a lot worse than being terminally cringe.
Cassels, of Lufkin, is behind bars after deputies pulled him over and he allegedly threw two bags containing roughly 59 grams of meth out of his vehicle.
A forensic examination of his phone then revealed child s*xual abuse material, triggering a second search warrant. In total, investigators allegedly found more than 300 images of child s*xual abuse material on his device.
Cassels now faces five counts of possession of child s*xual abuse material, drug possession, and evidence tampering. He’s held on $600,000 bond.
If convicted, he faces 5 to 99 years in prison, a $10,000 maximum fine, and lifetime sex offender registration.
It’s always the ones you most expect.

@Milajoy Boo Hoo! Have another glass of wine! I'm sure you'll get over it. Folks like you always do.

So, you found a tiny baby bunny alone in the grass. Your heart says 'rescue it,' but your heart is probably wrong. Here's why:
Cottontail rabbits are independent at 3-4 weeks old. At that age they're about the size of a tennis ball, seemingly helpless, but almost certainly fine.
Here's how to tell if your "baby bunny" is actually independent and on its own:
✅ Its eyes open and ears erect
✅ It has fluffy fur, not slick or patchy
✅ It's as big or bigger than a tennis ball
✅ It hops away when you approach
🚨 Signs it actually needs help:
❌ Eyes closed, ears are flat and sealed
❌ Thin patchy fur
❌ Cold, lethargic, or crying
❌ A cat has touched it.
That last point is especially important. Cat mouths and claws carry potentially deadly bacteria. If a cat has touched it at all, call a rehabber immediately regardless of how it looks.
Happy Pride Month Mark Bingham. 🏳️🌈
It requires bravery just to function in a society that is often hostile to you. No one should be surprised that he did that.
🚨 Republican candidate Tommy Tuberville committed voter fraud by voting in Florida while living in Alabama.
Many legal scholars now claim he is not eligible to run for governor of Alabama.
Did you know, those little bees you see in the evening sitting on flowers are old bees.
Old & sick bees don't return to the hive at the end of their day.
They spend the night on flowers, and if they have the chance to see another sunrise, they resume their activity by bringing pollen or nectar to the colony.
They do this sensing that the end is near.
No bee waits to die in the hive so as not to burden the others.
So, next time you see an old little bee sat upon a flower as the night closes in...
...thank the little bee for her life long service.
