Yes! I can finally talk about it. On June 4th, we're launching Black AI Futures at the UK Parliament. I've been working hard with two partners on this project behind the scenes and I'm glad it's finally happening. The response has been crazy over here in the UK so far, we're already oversubscribed for the event and this is just the beginning.
This initiative supported by UK MPs Dawn Butler (vice chair of AI APPG) and Bell Ribeiro-Addy, is about more than representation, it marks the start of a national effort to influence policy, drive innovation, and ensure AI becomes a force for empowerment, not exclusion, within Black and African communities because as you all know, i like to centre the continent in everything I do.
We’re bringing together some of the most thoughtful voices across tech, policy, and business to explore what AI for Good truly looks like for us. It’s been an honour to help shape this moment. It’s going to be powerful.
I just wanted to update the community on things I'm doing aside from the podcast. Stay tuned, more to come

@RiversidedotFM tried to use your live feature to go live on Instagram, youtube and twitter. It didn't work for twitter and then for Instagram it had this look... why doesn't it show one above the other.
We've started work on our video podcast series which will focus on ways to empower African nations, address the legacies of colonisation, and enhance global respect for Black people and the African diaspora.
If you know of any authors, historians, academics etc that will be interested in discussing that topic, please let us know via email: [email protected] . We'd love to speak to them.
In the meantime make sure to tune in to our first ever live this coming Sunday, where Hameed will be explaining why he believes the project is needed.
Have you always wondered why your favorite K-drama star has to leave the scene for compulsory military service?
Here's the full story to explain what's really happening...
