CTV Baloney. Canada calls it "multiculturism" and the USA calls it a " melting pot". It's the same thing. In the long run, we end up the same. English ancestry marries German ancestry and someplace down the line, the kids marry Asians. We eat beef, perogies, curry and sushi. No big deal
@tigresscynthia @MilaLovesJoe This is at a land crossing, and this was a lot of questions, but US CBP also asks Canadians lots of questions. Going through EU immigration is easy compared to us North American neighbours checking each other out.
@FairQuestions I always liked the tune to MLF better. It's stirring, emontional. But, Apparently, the words insult some of our populace. So, Change the words to MLF. It would be a great national anthem. Listen to " The Marseilesse" , then translate the words. Stirring, yet gross.
@Timothy65724269@terrynewman@ikwilson You have a point. The frustrations that led to Quebec separatism and the frustration in western Canada have a common root. That is, the unwillingness of the St Lawrence elites to share power with common Quebecois or westerners. Now, they buy Quebec love with westrn money.
@DwayneMihalicz Yes, since I retired from farming and joined the "other side", I often think that non farmers have no idea of how intense your busy season is. Nonstop adrenalin pumping.
