@RBReich No such thing as a corporate income tax. Only people can pay taxes. If a corp pays taxes it's just acting as a tax collector by charging its customers the tax & passing it on to the govt. Outrage at companies not paying corporate tax is just advocating for higher taxes on people.

@mitchlafon Richie, and while I may be slightly biased, in my opinion it's not particularly close. Leaving aside his vocals, guitar playing, stage presence, etc., he co-wrote most of their hits.

@RBReich Corporations don't pay taxes. Only people can pay taxes. If you tax a corp., where do you think the $ comes from? Their customers. If they don't factor tax into their costs, they go out of business. Corp. income tax is just another tax on people who can least afford it. The poor.

Any "corporate income tax" has been collected from customers & is built in to the price of whatever they've bought. Thus a corporate income tax is a hidden tax paid disproportionately by people who can least afford it.
