🍼 Make information on human milk widely available from early pregnancy

Future researchers may wish to recalibrate QRISK3 to accurately predict cardiovascular events for UK Biobank participants using this model.

QRISK3, a cardiovascular disease prediction model derived and validated using primary care data, is often used in the UK Biobank cohort. Just published is my work with @Oxford_NDPH to externally validate this model in UK Biobank for future researchers ⬇️

We found that QRISK3 had moderate discrimination for UK Biobank participants, but this declines with age and that QRISK3 systematically over predicts cardiovascular disease risk in UK Biobank.
