@estherckrakue Colombia accepted 475 deportation planes under Biden. 120 in 2024 alone. They were all on commercial planes.
Trump sending deportation flights on military planes into another country is ridiculous. Of course they were turned away. We would have done the same.
@DonaldJTrumpJr The Biden administration oversaw 475 deportation flights to Colombia. 120 in 2024. And he didn’t have to pick a fight or be an ass to get it done. 🤦🏼♀️
@DefiyantlyFree We would never accept foreign military planes landing on our soil. We always send our own planes to pick up our citizens. They are doing the same. Why should we even ask this of another country? Some basic diplomacy would have avoided all of this. 🤦🏼♀️
@conservemontana@charliekirk11 Colombia doesn’t want military planes from another country landing on their soil. We would feel exactly the same way.
They are accepting them. They are sending their own planes. Just no foreign military planes. I get it.
@conservemontana@charliekirk11 Colombian President is sending his own plane for them. He’s not turning them away. He wants them treated with respect. Imagine.
"Hitching the evangelical wagon to Donald Trump has meant unhitching it from the life and teachings of Jesus," @petewehner writes. "It’s a bad trade." https://t.co/d8wCWKsBO5
The Christian God is uniquely the Migrant God, the Refugee God, the God with no place to lay His head. The God who identifies himself with the hungry, the thirsty, the prisoner. If you’re a Christian and that doesn’t play a fundamental role in your political and economic thinking, then you need to rethink your Christianity or your politics or both.

By biblical definition, we have elected a fool to the presidency. A Proverbial 🧵 on what defines a fool and why we are to censure and avoid rather than honor and trust them:
"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction" (1:7).
“Terrible things are happening outside. Poor helpless people are being dragged out of their homes. Families are torn apart. Men, women, and children are separated. Children come home from school to find that their parents have disappeared.”

@DefiyantlyFree As a bishop, her housing is provided by the church. She oversees 86 congregations and 10 schools in the DC area. Given this, I would assume the church would provide accommodation befitting of her status.
