I’ve written plenty about it already, so let me sum it up in one sentence. After seeing this film, everyone will find themselves captivated by Inde Navarrette as Nikki… and hopelessly obsessed. If you’re looking to meet the “love of your catastrophe,” I highly recommend it. 👍🫶
This scene from the same episode is another example of this. This is almost 40 seconds without a single gag or joke!! But I was never bored watching it as a kid.
This episode is one of my favorite performances from Clancy Brown and Mr. Lawrence as Krabs and Plankton. The whole episode is just pure interpersonal drama and I love it. Love this flavor of cartoon where the characters are taken kind of seriously but the drawings are still fun

That's because it's half film & half digital, so it's always changing frame rates. The show FEELS different on a CRT. Also, they COMPLETELY changed the colors for the HD releases. People aren't gaslighting you. The VHS version legitimately looks like a completely different anime.

it doesnt matter how many signs you have in a library that says CHILDREN'S or TEEN area, random adults will come and start trying to have their zoom calls in those spaces and then get annoyed when i'm like "hey, could you move to literally anywhere else, this is for kids :)"
