Then he canceled it

Not because he realized that it is silly to give Pakistan control of our energy security

Uddhav Thackeray blamed Narendra Modi for the NDA's failure to secure minority votes in Mumbai in 2004.

Balasaheb Thackeray held the exact opposite view and backed Modi.

Till 2019, Maharashtra's Chief Ministers used to go to Matoshree for every important decision.

In 2019, Uddhav decided to go with Congress and searched for the easy route to minority votes.

In 2022, he lost the party and symbol founded by his father. In less than four years, his party is suffering yet another major split.

Read from Indian Oil's 2006-07 report : India was even looking to acquire ethanol from Brazil!

But in typical UPA style, very little got done...

Then, BJP came to power, got things done and created wave of anger against ethanol...
