I don’t think I’ve witnessed any player get more hits in the 100’s of games I’ve watched over the last 5 years than East Rockingham HS (2026) OF Colin Root (@root_colin7) and it’s not hard to find evidence. A ton of XBHs and a ton of hits with RISP. Kid is an absolute barrel factory. Calm demeanor, slow pulse, barrel stays in the zone a long time. Can also run it up to 83-84 mph on the bump.
