And of course the movement started by a family from Dubai that gave so much that was needed to our programs!
It was a great day for our participants to know areas of growth and how to grow. In request, the participants asked to have this day on a recurring basis.
What a day. 🎺🌞
We thank and appreciate our lovely participants.
Last Saturday we had our very first amazing exchange day at the centre with the direct impact to the community. 🎺 Through music and Life-Skills we were able to gather 130 of our participants in 4 bands, Bronze A, Bronze B, Silver and Gold! Including our community as well. 1
Had Talk to me session from members and leaders to inspire others on social behavior and Discipline. The participants shared feedback and they were very happy to collaborate together, boost their feedback, learning to support each other and also asking for support from fellows. 5
It's only 4 days away! Join us on Sunday at 9a.m. as we walk to celebrate the African Child and their dreams. While we also advocate for their rights and inclusion into decisions that are taken for them.
Will you join us?
We appreciate our partner @WorldConnectUS, other partners and individual donors who support us to transform the lives of these less privileged women.
We congratulate these champions again and celebrate the true life transformation that this program brings to many families. 4
Last Friday we celebrated 21 sewing and knitting graduates and 13 women who were able to buy their own machines.
Congratulations!
The 21 graduates include 10 teen mothers who also received new machines donated ahead of the start of the training back in February.
This also was a remarkable and inspirating day to the graduates as we officially recognised the cohort 1 Isimbi Support Haus 13 participants who have been able to buy new sewing machines after one year of saving and they started to generate income using them. 3
