When a coin has a baby:
A coin has a baby when the pad has claimed 10 SOL of its trading fees since its last birth. The threshold is per birth, so it resets each time: what the bar on a coin page measures is always fees claimed since that coin’s last baby.
A coin has 3 babies and no more.
If nothing anywhere on the pad has been born for 48 hours, the bar drops to 5 SOL. It only ever falls: a birth does not put it back, because a coin part of the way to the lower bar would otherwise find itself part of the way to the higher one, which is progress taken away after the fact.
The pad signs the birth. Nobody asks for it and nobody can bring it forward.
