Solo indie dev learning game development from scratch. Creating Rootfallen: Labyrinth's Echo — a sandbox fantasy adventure with permadeath dungeon exploration.
- Added directional dodge
- You can’t mine while in combat mode
- You can enter combat mode while mining, in case an enemy attacks
- MP is drained after using skills
- Added MP regeneration ability
Animation stuff is quite challenging, duh. But the progress has been good so far. I think I’m gonna work on the SFX to refresh my brain so I don’t get burned out.
I've been working on widgets for Leveling and Boss HP over the past 4 days. It’s been pretty fun experimenting with VFX too!
