@JamesWakibia@CocaCola Sales, revenue, profits, operational cost, numbers, numbers, and more numbers. Compassion for environment apparently missing. But yes, suck out water and crude oil from the planet, produce colored water in plastic bottles, generate profits. That we must. And Trash - whats that?
@weatherindia So why? Dont we have enough problems on our home planet to solve already? What is the point of justifications so convincing to the decision makers and power bodies to agree and massively fund such beautifully far fetched encroachment ideas?
@endelstamberg What courage and pride is she flaunting of besides a dead animal she shot from a far. Does she have the guts to even openly approach a living lion or combat with one without any weapon and then prove her bravery? Trophy hunting is sick and barbaric.
@Iampreetytweety@nazeemkhan@amitabhk87@IasAlok I have the same concern and hence dont believe it is a good use of the existing plastic waste. Chemical engineers should come up with new reactions which completely consumes chemical compounds in plastic to earth acceptable/absorbable by-products. Is it not possible I wonder.
@Greenpeace And those not at all responsible are being dragged out of their habitats, getting endangered, or even dying due to wild fires, hurricanes, floods, etc
Anyone else who would let me know that one plastic product you are using for several years now?
May be with our examples we inspire each other to put more such effort of reusing
#reduceplasticpollution#plasticpollution#reuse
What is that one plastic product you are using for several years now, and are able to resist the throwing away of that completely useable product for something new? For example a plastic comb or a plastic pen holder.
I just realised my plastic soap case is 15+ yrs old.
#reuse
@Greenpeace What are they going to do once the forest is entirely wiped out? Have they thought about it. Or their focus is bank balance and nothing else.
@think_or_swim Read --- Lets destroy the Arctic.
I wonder what should we call such technologies that are capable of discovering new areas on the planet that can be destroyed permanently for profits/benefits temoprary... should we call it our technical prowess or nature's agony?
For many years, we have accepted individual responsibility for a problem we have little control over. We can swim against this plastic stream with all our might and fail to make much headway. At some point we need to address the source. #RethinkPlastics@JamesWakibia
@Greenpeace Just because these creatures cant fight back, or there is no vested interested in listening/feeling pain and agony, they continue to die and be displaced of their habitats again and again and again.
@NetNegative1 Completely agree. And when we say replace petrol/diesel cars with EVs, we as well mean manufacturing at least equal number of EVs to cater to the demand of the population owning/capable of buying cars. What then happens to the existing cars is anybody's guess. Massive Graveyards.
@Bharati09 All the terms like luxury, convenience, comfort, should be redefined. Invisibly, chasing these are all taking way too much toll on our mother earth.
@livekindlyco@COP26 Just because flaura has been created immobile and we humans are incapable of listening to what they speak and of feeling what they go through, we recklessly, ignorantly, selfishly, go to their homes, ravage it, and kill them all...
@BBCBreaking But why 2030? Who will live to run businesses and what will happen of all thwle billion dollars of profit and bank balances when there wont be any clean air to breathe, fresh water to drink, and healthy natural food to eat?
@sascampaigns@HugoSAS If one cannot find ways to manage their own waste (be it human excreted waste or human generated waste), dumping their trash in tonnes to other countries or water bodies, what makes them say/feel/promote that they are developed, rich, technically advanced countries?
