Restarting my blog after a long time away.
Continuing to blog about Drupal, frontend development, nonprofit technology (nptech), and advocacy; now I'm adding Hugo, MJML, bash scripting and some other things.

The counted ballots were 62 Yes and 15 No. There were some challenged ballots, but not enough to change the results of the election. It's a decisive win!

#Markdown syntax for def lists is so bizarre:
Item title
: Item definition
The colon changes the formatting of not only its line but also the *previous* one. Can't think of another situation like it.
MediaWiki's version:
; Item title
: Item definition
makes much more sense.
The @nytimes article on a park in Anacostia, DC, is beautifully designed, except...
(and no, there's no way to dismiss the message)

I'm in love with the new #RoseLane on NE Couch! So much better than the parallel Davis bike route with its speed bumps and semi trucks parked in the turn lane on NE 12th. Thank you @PBOTinfo! 🌹🚴♂️🚌💨 #pdx#gobybike@BikePortland
#Portland: our city is on the verge of installing thousands of always on microphones that have a 90% error rate. Mostly in our Black and Brown neighborhoods. Gonna cost us millions and actively cause harm. Let’s resist this ShotSpotter BS, #PDX!! RSVP:

South Carolina state senators introduced legislation that would make it illegal to host a website or “[provide] an internet service” with information that is “reasonably likely to be used for an abortion” and directed at pregnant people in the state. https://t.co/ZGXAXhQH3V
What does abortion criminalization have to do with movements to end police violence and criminalization? Everything.
Our movements are connected and we can and must fight back together. Uplifting our resource: https://t.co/pjsbNaY6X1 #LetThisRadicalizeYou#RoeVsWade
The President telling people to be peaceful while they send riot battalions to the Supreme Court, which has snipers on the roof and just ruled that women can die rather than get an abortion is truly sick.
The worst-case scenarios are coming home to roost. We simply cannot afford to sustain separate, siloed movements; they are coming for every hard-fought civil right won in the last 50 years. WE have to fight back like our lives depend on it. Because they do. Join us.
