Excited to meet friends and colleagues and also new people!
Heading to @NeurIPSConf to present our two papers with Azim Ospanov and Farzan Farnia:

MINIF2F-V2: Human-verified fixes (+300; 16 repaired) and an Olympiad setting (informal↔formal match, no credit for simplifications) lift end-to-end informal to Lean to proof accuracy to ~70% (vs ~36% on v1). LLM judging overstated autoformalization (97% to 66%). Two splits: v2s (simplified-faithful) and v2c (competition-exact incl. choices).

I'm only now getting around to this "request". I didn't know what Hadwiger's conjecture was, so I looked it up, and it seemed suitable for an experiment. Here's the result: some prompting in Claude and it was formalized it in about 10 minutes:

🔥 @GoogleDeepMind just dropped their "formal conjectures" project - formalizing statements of math's biggest unsolved mysteries in #LeanLang and #Mathlib!
This Google-backed project is a HUGE step toward developing "a much richer dataset of formalized conjectures", valuable for benchmarks and growing the Lean ecosystem.
The project was open sourced today! And you can be part of it! Check it out: https://t.co/JHrdeahAlU

I’ve just recorded my last contribution for the BBC after 39 years. It’ll be on the next edition of From Our Own Correspondent on @BBCRadio4 and @bbcworldservice
Now onward to new adventures… As my hero Marcelo Bielsa might say, ‘Vamos Carajo!’
We were very excited to read Terence Tao's article "Machine-Assisted Proof" in the latest Notices of the American Mathematical Society, and pleased to see Lean recognized several times throughout the piece! #leanprover#leanlang

On March 25th, 1911, the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire ignited a passion inside of Frances Perkins.
She would go on to dedicate her life to lifting the lives of working people – becoming the first woman Cabinet Secretary and longest-serving Secretary of Labor in history.
This week, I was proud to designate the Frances Perkins Homestead in Maine as a national monument.
I believe that the vast majority of people in this country are good and generous and honest and fair – and whether they are Democrats or Republicans or independents, they want those values reflected in their politics. That’s what we’ll get with @KamalaHarris and @Tim_Walz – two leaders who will work every day to make your lives better.
