The problem is that these days it’s is seen as backwards and barbaric to actually punish those who offend. Successive governments have been climbing over themselves to release offenders earlier and earlier.
By all means prevent what you can but once a crime has been committed it should be properly punished.

All the above are “don’t do it again” as a response to being caught.
No consequence at all.
Only a tiny percentage of crimes get a punishment. It’s crazy!

Anyone else gets immediately deported.
Asylum in this country stops.
