The $KAITO Airdrop Polarizes Yap Farmers and Disappoints NFT Holders

Nifty Thought:

Although the $KAITO airdrop was extremely lucrative for some Yap farmers, many people (especially NFT buyers) had higher expectations. This largely stems from the fact that only 10% of the airdrop was given to the community as opposed to other anticipated airdrops, such as Hyperliquid, that provided 30%. Nonetheless, many Yap farmers received 6 digit airdrops as a result of their tweets. For them, this was undeniably a successful airdrop. However, NFT buyers that bought at the top (~11 ETH) have lost approximately $18,000. More so than anything this proves capital efficiency must be top of mind while farming airdrops and the risk of capital loss is often not worth it.
