, someone HAS to spit truth about the exchange side of trading.
Why not me, I thought. And here we are.
Today we talk B-booking - the dirty little secret of trading platforms no one wants to discuss.
To launch your cogs,
Why do you think exchanges let you max out with 10-20-50x leverage?
*fully aware that retail couldn’t manage risk if their lives depended on it*
Let's assume you're trading at the world's leading centralized exchange.
HamsterCage.
When you open a trade on HamsterCage exchange, they’re often the ones sitting on the other side. Trading directly AGAINST YOU. You go long? They take the short. You over-leverage, the market drops by 0.5%, and bam—you’re liquidated. Who keeps your collateral? HamsterCage. Who directly profits from your losses? Also HamsterCage.
Not just the house itself but also your opponent. On multiple levels.
Now put yourself in their shoes. How would you maximize your winrate?
Wouldn't it be cool if market wasn't 'free?' What if you could impact price action and order execution order? Similar to shuffling a deck of cards and pulling any card of your choice like a master croupier.
That's exactly what HamsterCage is capable of because they control the matching engine and liquidation thresholds. What’s stopping them from... nudging the numbers just enough to stay ahead?
Law? LoL. Regulatory oversight? Double LoL.
What can HamsterCage do?
- Intentionally execute trades at unfavorable prices for retail via in-house market makers.
- Create fake order book depth to discourage large orders or to trigger stop-loss orders
- Set up artificial delays depending on the 'Tier' of a trading account, so that order created by larger accounts are executed slightly slower/faster. This way exchanges milk their cash cows in a way that is almost untraceable.
At times, HamsterCage manipulates markets WITHOUT having any tokens. Literally printing them off chain and hiding in labyrinths of data systems.
The wildest part? Hardly anyone’s knows about it put aside talking.
TLDR;
Next time you’re tempted to YOLO into a high-leverage trade, remember: you’re not just betting against the market. You’re betting against HamsterCage.
And they’ve already rigged the game to make sure you lose.
On scale.
p.s. please repost to protect naive/unaware retail loosing money. could very well be someone you know: friends, relatives...
or angry girlfriends gambling your money because you don't pay them enough attention working in crypto.
@FabianHedin Every paying customer believes in you and has supported you to get here. Can you add support services? I can't see the support email on your website.
Congrats and hope you don't forget about us!
@lovable Hi, I'm trying to edit the background to particular images of my website, however it does nothing and just uses up credits. I bought a plan but most of my credits are going into edits that are doing nothing to the website... Do you have a support website?
@JustEatUK Worst complaint service ever. I have been ill all weekend due to a takeaway and just eat staff have been saying that put some credit on my account (not a refund) is within my their policy and they refuse to show what that policy is! Further, they just tell me to report to FSA.
