This afternoon, @nysdcjs kicked off its annual SNUG Street Outreach Conference, convening staff from 14 programs we fund across the state, and those who work for community violence intervention programs that we support in New York City. 🧵
These street outreach workers, supervisors, case managers and social workers are changing the trajectory of the lives of the individuals with whom they work by recognizing their promise, value and humanity.
