Dong Wook attended The Macallan pop-up event in Jamsil. He looked as gorgeous as ever, but it seems like he’s lost even more weight. 

After attending the event in the morning, he went straight to King Kong’s Sports Day without eating anything until dinner. Poor Dong Wook. 🥲

The menu Dong Wook was eating was: 
•Kaprao Moo Sab (กะเพราหมูสับ) — spicy stir-fried minced pork with basil
•Gai Pad Prik (ไก่ผัดพริก) — stir-fried chicken with fresh chilies
•Kai Dao (ไข่ดาว) — Thai-style crispy fried egg

Both the pork and chicken dishes are normally spicy, but eating them with fried egg helps reduce the spiciness and makes everything even more flavorful. Thai-style fried eggs are especially delicious when they’re freshly cooked. I love them too.

It was so cute how much Dong Wook enjoyed the food on set. He even ate half a fried egg in one spoonful. 🤣

The fight scene between Jin Man and Q was so thrilling—the close-range, fast-paced fight in a confined space, with a table and chair as obstacles.

I cut and rearranged the behind-the-scenes clips to match the timeline of the actual scene. Dong Wook and Hyunri had to memorize every move step by step, then gradually pick up the speed.

What impressed me most was the difference in Dong Wook’s expression between rehearsal and the actual take.

During rehearsal, Dong Wook was focused on going through the movements and getting the routine right. But in the actual scene, he brought Jin Man into every move through his expressions and eyes, while making the whole fight look effortlessly cool.

The moment I saw the close-up shot of Dong Wook’s eye, I thought it was CG because it looked so scary. But when the camera zoomed out, it turned out to be his real eye.👁️

This few-second scene was filmed under the careful supervision of an eye specialist to make sure Dong Wook didn’t feel any pain or discomfort. He said he didn’t feel a thing and was actually curious about how the shot turned out. 

The director and his assistant were so pleased with how brutal the shot looked. They definitely nailed it. 😱

In A Shop for Killers Season 1, Dong Wook gained 6 kg of muscle to build Jeong Jin Man’s body. For Season 2, he gained 8 kg!! 💪🏻

Sadly, he couldn’t maintain all that muscle for long because he had to lose 12 kg for his role as Kim Ji Hoon in The Facade of Love (aka Love Affair). 🥲

All that hard-earned muscle… gone for the next role. 😭
