A 12th Metropolitan Police Officer has been sacked following our BBC Panorama investigation. According to the IOPC, nine investigations involving more than 10 officers remain active in relation to our programme, including three criminal investigations.

The IOPC has published an update on its investigation into officers based at Charing Cross Police Station following BBC Panorama’s Undercover in the Police. Additional officers are now being investigated for potential gross misconduct.

A former Met Police officer who joked about rape has been found to have committed gross misconduct. FPC Brian Sharkey, who featured in BBC Panorama’s Undercover in the Police, will not face any sanctions.
