@MarkW2005@USEAlliance@ReufBajrovic@guardian I think the fleur-de-lys flag has always been a common sight at at BiH matches so is not really being "revived". Also not sure if there really is "strong nationalist pressure" for Serbs (or Croats) not to play for BiH, but I may be wrong.
@RoryGallivan@MaxPrimorac As I said in a telegram to the FCO, “BiH is a unique culinary phenomenon. It started out as an omelette but turned into three hard-boiled eggs”
@RoryGallivan@ZovkoEU Great book. Especially since it awesomely quotes ME
“British Ambassador Crawford’s early warnings regarding the questionable legality of the Bonn Powers now appear prescient”
I in fact claim the credit for inventing what became the BPs back in 1997 when I was HMA Sarajevo 👀👀
"We went to watch the Croatia-England match in a restaurant and it was full of Bosnian fans cheering on Croatia." Interesting @ITV@nati_sfv_asf v @NFSBiH

Walking through the old town, Dubrovnik tonight and this cafe reminded me of Vincent Van Gogh’s The night cafe. It isn’t really anything like it, but it reminded me of it. How he must have felt, sat there watching the diners and the passersby.
"It was in Malaysia that I first heard about Muslim volunteers (mujahedeen) who left the comfort of their families and homes to defend Bosniak Muslims. Their endeavours were driven by a profound sense of duty and compassion..." Hmm. https://t.co/LJ0Gu2U7qJ
