@20202020ppp @richplow @typhl0 Who do you think controls the federal funds for education? If states become responsible for funding, states like Oklahoma would be severely underfunded. Oklahoma is already at the bottom in education.

@richplow Defunding it would mean that schools wouldn’t get federal funding, children’s civil rights could be at risk because they’d no longer have the departments office for civil rights to help protect it and special education programs could be axed. No FASFA.
