Due to limited resources as a charity run primarily on donations, we cannot respond to emergency wildlife situations via social media. Found a sick, injured or orphaned wild animal? Call TWC's hotline at 416-631-0662 or submit our online form. Thank you. https://t.co/QJ6JRsaRFm
❗️RESIDENTS OF BATHURST AND STEELES❗️
Dozens of pigeons were found dead or convulsing in the area after likely being poisoned. We have sent bodies for testing. If you find birds who are seizing, have wing tremors, or are unable to fly please call our Hotline at 416-631-0662.
Yesterday Toronto Council voted against protecting millions of birds along with cats by rejecting the no-roaming bylaw for our beloved felines. TO residents please contact your City Councillor & Mayor Tory to voice objections to this devastating decision! https://t.co/083TGmFZWl
@TWC_Wildlife My dad was a building manager decades ago and remembers a coworker getting laced popcorn kernels (possibly with cyanide?) from a contract exterminator to “control the pigeons” on the complex. This is heartbreaking. Ty for the hotline 🙏🏻
Other than that, good luck to any/all (post secondary) students heading back to school ESPECIALLY if you're struggling with tuition/ loans/ additional school costs and it's seeming insurmountable 💙 I have literally no words of encouragement because we fucked lmao 👋
@RUServiceHub @RyersonU & on the "office of the registrar" page there's basically only twitter info & phone number. This was much quicker than waiting >90 minutes even though my issue isn't solved--considering #COVID19 changes? Should be more #accessible#studentsupports 5/
@RUServiceHub so hopefully, when I call tomorrow morning after work (because I worked last night and got home today at 9AM and I need to sleep) there are some more reps working to make these lines go by faster since it's a proud new #callcentreservice 👍4/
@RUServiceHub @RyersonU and as an aside I have to prove to #OSAP why it's taking longer than "normal" to graduate. I need to work FT...and overnights fit my schedule being a student--programs are designed to be completed in a time frame that =/= for #workingstudents FYI 3/
@RUServiceHub I NEED to speak to an advisor because they need to edit the info I put on my loan. This #callcentre thing isn't working and as a FT student who works FT overnights, there needs to be something else working here..2/
@RUServiceHub I was on hold w/ financial aid twice...once for over an hour (was disconnected waiting to speak to an #OSAP advisor) and then about 25 minutes waiting to get BACK in touch with someone to be put BACK on hold to speak to an advisor so I can adjust my #studentloan 1/
