Graduated this week from the University of Glasgow, BVMS MRCVS, now returned to the states and will be starting work mid-July in a rural practice in Maine!
@bouldie Honey on the prolapse. Try and get osmosis to do the work for you :) did it with one small prolapse on a chicken and it worked - she stopped laying for about 2 months FYI
Just finished my last rotation of #vetschool!! Picture of me being very happy and my neon green clinic shoes 💚 it is now time to finish portfolio and study for exams... but maybe after a celebratory beer ;) #vetstudent#scrubs
Halfway thru first week of small animal specialty rotation :) as I plan to go into general practice it’s great how much useful info I’m still able to take away from the specialist departments! #vetstudent

This came up on my Facebook today, decided to share bc #bees are little but are very important for our #agriculture and #environment. Risking importing infectious diseases and non native species is a real threat to domestic #bee populations 🐝 ❤️
Annual reminder, Mallow is a lot of things but she is not:
• Low maintenance
• Cheap/affordable
• Great for kids
• Exempt from veterinary care
• A short commitment
• An Easter gift 🙄
@NorthernMGirl Growing up we had a neighbors Scottish highland bull get our dexter pregnant. She didn’t need help calving 🤷🏼♀️ don’t know if I’d go any bigger than that
@bouldie I called someone’s dog a ‘he’ today because she had what I thought was a boys name and was coming in OOH so we didn’t have the patient in the system yet. 😅 hang in there. If it was an in person consult at least you’d have been able to tell straight away 😂
To celebrate guinea pig awareness week this week we have made our In Practice article 'Veterinary care of guinea pigs' free to view for a limited period. Access the article at: https://t.co/NUOxb5Huh1 #GPAW
Easter chocolates arrived!! Got to try and not eat them all before Easter comes 🐣 I’ve bought from here before, it’s great chocolate and they have thoughtful eco packaging! @chocolatetradco
@drcopps Growing up in Kansas I think most folk I knew called it Ar-Kansas. And it was the Ar-Kansas River to us then too :) but then we also tossed an extra R into wash, so it became “warsh” 🤷🏼♀️ probably just a Kansas thing
Got the feedback on our midpoint final year formative assessment and I passed that :) Hopefully bodes well for the actual exams in June! Also learned last night the final year case report I submitted in February passed too (so don’t have to redo it, whew)! A good day ☀️
@fishroper Thanks Christa :) just slowly ticking the boxes I need to to graduate. I’ve got 7 weeks of rotations left, two DOPS, a portfolio and exams and I’ll be a free bird!
