@SketchesbyBoze I agree with that, and also think this is what Rick Riordan has tapped into so successfully with his own books covering Greek, Roman and Norse mythology stories and wider, supported authors. 'Daughter of the Deep' was based on Jules Verne (I learned that it's not leagues down!)

Reflecting on #DoctorWho #therealitywar the story was a bit patchy (didn't resolve Susan, the pantheon, Mel's hair, the Master in tooth etc) but I don't feel gaslit by the Belinda as Poppy's mum thing. The Doctor regenerated to find a way to reinsert Poppy into reality. 1/6
