@MrARobbins I had an interview 2 weeks ago that didn’t take me beyond the lesson stage because I didn’t do enough of this sort of thing. Apparently I needed to talk about poverty more to engage the poor kids in the group.
@HeroicMrT@meh50187 Chances are that’s two different markers too because nobody really marks both papers and if you did it would be highly unlikely they’d get the same kid on the random allocation. That really highlights just how poor the process and training is.

With no job lined up for September, it’s looking increasingly likely I’ll have to move outside of teaching. Quite ironic in the midst of a recruitment crisis... I’d love to stay in teaching so if anyone has any hot leads for something commutable from Chester, do send it my way.
