@fungicats this goes to show that with the most basic care, rodents can easily live healthy lives. the way people talk about rodents as pets is disgusting. i understand not being a fan of them, but laughing at their deaths and neglecting them to the point of injury or death is gross

@fungicats the first pet i took care of on my own was my dwarf hamster, pluto. even if i was just a kid and he was “just” a hamster, i still went through the necessary time and effort to give him the best life i could. he passed peacefully in his favorite little burrow
