I’m just a little bit in love with the light for the main bathroom. There has been a lightbulb hanging from the ceiling since the bathroom was finished so we finally got round to putting this gorgeous light up last night.

I absolutely love the hallway lights. We have the same ones at the top of the stairs and in the entrance vestibule. Watch out for the matching chandelier appearing on the landing when we work out how to get it there.

Delighted with my choice of grey paving. I had originally intended to go for a beige colour to match the stonework but at the last minute changed my mind. I think the grey paving looks really good with the grey door.

One sofa for the family room has arrived and one for the lounge so they are currently sitting side by side in the family room until I can get round to painting the lounge.

It’s time to start to turn our attention to the garden so I’m currently trying to chose paving for the paths. It’s definitely not an easy decision because I’m struggling to envisage how it will look. Anyone got any recommendations for buff paving?

It’s been a full weekend of work on the house as we try to push to get all of the downstairs decorating finished. .
