@Sasukebix I think it' to justify what he did. He needs to be this loyal or else he murdered his entire clan for nothing. having a strong conviction makes the trauma less severe in his mind. He needed to do it because it was for konoha any questioning of konaha is questioning the massacre.

Hollywood would definitely make some kinda dark twisted Hashirama who was just marrying women from different powerful clans to try and seal the 9 tails in them and they kept dying and Mito just happened to be the one who lived.💀💀

Yeah but the concept of jinchuriki really didn't exist before Mito so are they changing that? Was there Uzumaki jinchūrikis before her? If there was how did Madara get the 9 tails did he kill the Jinchuriki before Mito? if there wasn't one how did they know mito wouldn't die

@fialovescarbs Like maybe his character arc in the movie is that he thinks he knows everything, but Kakashi, Sakura, and Sasuke keeps telling him he's wrong and then when they go to the land of waves he truly sees he doesn't know anything.

@eternalbyakugou also her being a rich civilian doesn't mean shit in a shinobi school. so it's not like there completely striping away her nobody status. Plus it's much more likely for a rich girl to be put in a class full of clan heirs and the jinchuriki then a girl from an average family.

@eternalbyakugou I think the being rich part of her story could be interesting if they did something like she bought her way into the academy because her crush on Sasuke and she still does good cuz of her chakra control but maybe she doesn't put in as much effort as she could (1/2)

Okay but hear me out "history nerd Naruto" buts it's all Danzo and root propaganda not real history, clashing heads with Sasuke (taught the Uchiha pov of history) (neither are true) adding another level of tension between them they have to overcome and learn from.

@rodeorosebud The first Wile short I watched as a kid was him with Bugs so imagine my surprise to watch other shorts only for him to not talk genuinely for years felt gaslit because I knew I remembered him talking but he doesn't talk in most shorts or any of the movies.
