Ever since I lost my dad and opened up about my mental health struggles, Eddie has been one of the few people who consistently checks in on me.

I don’t always respond because sometimes I get so lost in my own head that I shut the world out. But that never stops him from reaching out again.

I don’t think he’ll ever truly know how much that small gesture means to me. A simple “How are you doing?” can carry more weight than people realize.
