So, to be clear, Governor Hochul's plan is to tax all NYC residents instead of charging people from out of state and out of the city for driving their metal boxes into Lower Manhattan while not making the air cleaner. No one is more catered to than the suburban driver.

What Hochul did is the kind of sabotage by a leader that warrants impeachment, IMO.
Randomly nuking a policy years in the making - without even specifying the legal means of doing so - and throwing the MTA into fiscal crisis is beyond the pale.
it’s wild that coastal cities have spent years debating if YIMBY policies will lower rents, and Austin just… did it
they streamlined permitting, upzoned most of the city, and eliminated parking mandates. Tons of housing is going up and rents are plummeting.
YIMBY policies work
Commentators have not stopped talking about Jason Day’s baggy pants at The Masters…as if they literally weren’t also commentating when every player dressed like this

The effects of “tenet friendly” legislation. Rent control and the elimination of 421a taxes abatements for developers will ruin New York. Something something supply, something something demand.
A lot of the rents I'm seeing in New York City have DOUBLED from where they were 3-4 years ago. Salaries certainly haven't kept up.
I don't think people are grasping how dire the situation is out here.
