Pls RT to help get YouTube's attention!
@RZwermann@MrsZee Game Master. It's another term for Dungeon Master, though not directly associated to Dungeons and Dragons, which uses the term DM more.
@MrsZee@levelupcorner@CounterspellCo I think, personally, the description of dude was a bit more important than you think. Just a hint before next session.
@MrsZee What's weirder is that she didn't even go lie down after you left. She sat in the living room, thinking about how peaceful it is.
She likes her quiet, that's for sure.
@MrsZee To explain even more of Qui-Gon's actions, his master was Dooku. Dooku taught him to question everything, including the jedi's teachings. It was when Dooku started getting closer to the dark side that Qui-Gon decided to keep him at arm's length.
@MrsZee Yeah...but the sith order isn't much better. Before the events of the movies, there were way more than just two sith. And their training included so much death. You know how a sith apprentice becomes a lord or darth? They kill their master.
@MrsZee Update: Gunsmoke and The Virginian are not on today. It's a whole bunch of religious stuff so I turned the TV off. She's cold. And the AC is running. "If I'm cold, then everybody should be!"
Okay then, hello frowny Grandmother.
@MrsZee It's alright. She just got up and went into the guest room. We'll see how she feels later in the day. I might need to change the sheets over to the dryer soon, though...
The languages are Elder Futhark and Younger Futhark (long branch). Th is thorn, but phone doesn't have that symbol and it isn't used in English anymore.
Watching Atlantis: The Lost Empire with the bf, right? Well, he's Norse pagan. Not even four minutes in, he wanted to check the runes in the first scene.
They're apparently way off, as they used a mixture of two different languages to spell "coast of Ireland" (1)
If you look at the Norse language, there is no C. Period. But what they used was the rune for R. So the whole thing translates to "roast of Rsiland", not "coast of Iceland" like they're trying to say...because they combined two different languages. (2)
@MrsZee She was pretty cheerful all morning even after you left for work. Though I've become Lori. She's gone to bed and suggested I come with her and just say "that's all of us!"
