Any #ruh dietitian# haematology # neutropenic diet can give advice - does ruh follow bda dietetic guidance re neutropenic patients. Nursing staff giving conflicting advice about what can/cannot be eaten. TIA

And if screening is offered - do it!

Feeling frustrated that in 2025 a hospice CNS is telling a family that a syringe driver may help their relative “pass quicker”. Thought we’d moved away from that years ago @drkathrynmannix

@drkathrynmannix To be fair it was reported to me so it is possible they heard something different to what was said. All the way through the illness the family have been “listening but not hearing” if that makes sense.

Difficult to navigate for those with knowledge of system impossible for those without
