@JeremyVineOn5 Been unable to get an appt with a GP for over 2 years. I phone at 8am and am told there are no appts and if urgent, to go to urgent care. I did go to urgent care and I was asked why I didn’t go to the GP. I explained why and the senior nurse called the surgery. No change though
@TheBritLad You are so brave. I wish I had the guts to do it. I get shouted at when I ask people very politely not to park on the double yellows and pavement outside my house. They live elsewhere but go to the local shops. I have a walker so I struggle getting out of the house
@StandUnitedGB I have a damaged pavement (use of substandard equipment) outside my house, which means I struggle with my walker. Could someone come and paint this on it for me? It will get mended before you finish reading this. 🙏🏻
@JeremyVineOn5 my sister in law is American (lives there) with my brother) had Italian parents. She made traditional Italian food for her and my brother but adapted them for me and my tastes.
@JeremyVineOn5@albieamankona@RobbieRinder I’ve paid taxes for my pension and they changed the rules so I don’t get it until I’m 66 now. I couldn’t do national service. I was happy to pay for others to get their pension so it should be automatic
@JeremyVineOn5 What is a GP appointment? I have to beg to see the nurse about an ongoing problem, and then I’m told they don’t have any and go to urgent care. I went to urgent care and was asked why I was there. When I explained she rang the surgery and I got an appointment for 2 days later
@JeremyVineOn5 I had my last flight last year to USA. I have mobility problems so won’t be flying again. I kept my seatbelt done up the whole time unless I needed to go to the toilet.
It was in sight of the staff so they knew they didn’t need to bother me if I was sleeping.
Not a problem.
@HoodedClaw1974 Something similar happened to me at a community event where I was talking to a Muslim friend and the Imam turned his back on me snd refused to acknowledge I was even there
@graceelizh I was stood outside my house when a Somali man stopped on his bike and spoke to me, smiled and asked if he could come in. I told him to go away (not very lady like). I told if he didn’t I would scream. He eventually cycled away.
