@NW1Stephen I think that had the EFL announced they cheated against other clubs, ie Wrexham, Millwall then that opens up a even bigger can of worms. Its convenient that the two other clubs that were named results didnt matter and their final position not affected
@Vfynn_ If it was a one off incident then maybe, its its proving to be an ongoing thing throughout the season which is which time soton broke all records to make the play offs then the EFL had no option
@saintsfcreport Its like fielding an eligible player and being kicked out of the FA Cup and then complaining that the punishment is not winning the Fa cup. You havent been funed £200million you havent won anything
@SouthamptonFC But by cheating you denied Middlesbrough the exact same riches so how would that be fair. And by cheating the only option you left the EFL is the one already given
@SaintsExtra@GaryLineker@alanshearer@RestIsFootball They had no option, you can't fine a club a nominal fee when you compare it to the possible £200mill promotion riches. Otherwise other clubs would risk it for the prize
@TheCruncher76@AGroundsss I think the EFL know it would open a can of worms if they mentioned the other teams. Only charging them with oxford and ipswich and boro keeps the others from going mental
