Firefighters at #Wallasey Community Fire Station will be holding a charity car wash this Saturday, 24th September.
Pop down between 10am and 3pm and help the team raise money for their local Scouting group.

This is just some of the damage on Bidston Hill following a no. of grass fires this week. We're glad to see some rain today but the ground is still very dry. Remember:

🔥Don't light fires/BBQs in open country, dunes or woodland
🚬Dispose cigarettes properly
🚮Take litter home

The ceremony also marked the final recruit course for Head of Recruit Department Watch Manager Steve Atkinson, who retires from MFRS this week after over 30 years of service and seven recruit courses.
