Spent yesterday applying @OpenAI's ChatGPT to bits of my previous policy work in the charity sector, Government, and Parliament. Output highlighted blue.
Thread with (impressive looking) examples and initial thoughts.

People often mock Fife (Kingdom of) but I ask you, where else could you buy Thunderpants on DVD for £1 from a wool shop on a deer farm so close to Christmas?
#Fife4Life
A well-considered, meticulously researched report from @Jess_Sargeant and colleagues at the @instituteforgov on the UK constitution. Several recommendations aimed directly at Parliament. Recommended reading.

Exemplary work from the @LordsEUCom and @HLEnviroClimate teams.
Pleasure to speak at this event and to fly the policy flag! Superb initiative by the @BiochemSoc.
Struck by attendees' engagement, insightful questions, and ability to look up from their Western blots (also learned a lot from the other speakers!)
Last week we successfully hosted our Careers Beyond Academia: Roundtable event for early career researchers. Representatives from various scientific sectors shared their inspiring non-academic career journeys and experiences. Attendees made connections helpful to their careers.
@pmblakeley@JimBethell@thetimes Parallels with the @UKHouseofLords 2019-20 special inquiry into food, poverty, health, and the environment led by Lord Krebs.
Similar recognition that COVID-19 may provide an impetus for change.

Busy day for the Protocol Sub-Committee, highlighting the value of @UKHouseofLords scrutiny.
1⃣ - publication of a report examining the PEACE PLUS Programme 2021-27 ⤵️
2⃣ - a public evidence session with @JamesCleverly on the Windsor Framework (📺Parliament live, 11:30 onwards)
PEACE PLUS funding welcome for Northern Ireland, but further clarity required from the Government says Protocol Sub-Committee in report published today on the PEACE PLUS Programme 2021–2027:

@Oliver_BM_ Nice piece, well set out.
Did a similar (but lazier!) bit of exploration a few weeks ago, applying ChatGPT to real-world Government / Parliamentary work: https://t.co/zL4SNXWT8Z
Agree with your final point re. public affairs adoption due to incentivisation.

Today is the day, so here’s another punt for the @commonslibrary briefing @JohnHoCLibrary and I put together on a quarter century of the Belfast/Good Friday Agreement: https://t.co/KXy3JlHSO8
@travelling_wolf@LordNortonLouth ...I have never been tempted to purchase Twitter Blue (with its edit functionality)... until this moment! Let's pretend I'm talking about a far more exclusive *1912* Committee!
@16Sunsets@Kevin_Fong Looking forward to this. Massive fan of 13 Minutes (recommended it to several non-Brits during a recent tour of @NASA_Johnson!) - the narration, sound design, et al.
Have come to love the Shuttle in recent years. Seeing it in person - in all its bricky glory - certainly helped!
I made a thing!

@carolvorders Neutral on this - feels multi-factorial. Approach however not very robust..
Lists of MPs’ handles exist. Perhaps better to feed into a simple script, strip bio text, then search for mentions (and absences) of political affiliation. Could compare with other parties.
